Historic homes are a personal passion for me. In fact, I live in a historic district and own a 1920's Craftsman-style home. I have enjoyed restoring it back to its original charm.  Through the process I have accumulated and vetted a great list of tradesmen to assist with repairs, renovations, and upkeep on an older (or any) home.

When selling any home, it’s key to have a seasoned Realtor on your team to provide expertise and education on all matters in Real Estate.  This is even more crucial when selling a historic home.  Hiring a Realtor that specializes in historic homes will speak volumes when it come time to negotiating, researching, and educating buyers about the historic home.  If a Realtor does not know what they are selling a seller could leave money on the table or even worse destroy or ignore a significant  element to the historical property.

If buying a historic home is your dream, I have accumulated a lot of information over the years to share with you. Older homes are beautiful, inspirational and can be a joy to live in.  They also tend to hold their value longer than newer builds. The key is to know what you’re buying! My experience with buying, selling and even owing a 100-year-old home will benefit your search for your dream home.

If you’re interested in buying or selling a historic home (or any style of home) give me a call today. Most questions can be answered right over the phone. And if historic is your passion, don't forget to ask me about the Mills Act .
