IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATE:

AUGUST 13TH

• Compensation fields will be removed from the Multiple Listing Services

• New Rules & Policy changes will go into effect August 13, 2024

Here is what the settlement means for home sellers:

• You still have the choice of offering compensation to buyer brokers. You may consider doing this as a way of marketing your home or making your listing more attractive to buyers.
  

Here is what the settlement means for home buyers:

• You will sign a written agreement with your agent before touring any home. The written agreement is called a Buyer Broker Agreement and it must specify the amount of compensation that the participating agent will receive for their work.
