"Is now a good time to buy or sell a home?"
This has got to be the question I am asked most often. The most solid advice I can give anyone looking to buy or sell a home is hire a seasoned professional. To be more specific; Is now a good time to sell? Even though the housing market is cooling from the roaring frenzy we experienced in the past couple years, it continues to be a good time to sell. There are several reasons why, but center stage is the continued buyer demand and ongoing shortage of housing inventory. Regardless of the property location or condition a seasoned professional can take any property in any market and show it in its best light and maximize your bottomline. But you say, Jennifer, it can not possibly be a good time to buy? Rates are on the rise! The short answer is, always do what is best for you and your family. When you buy you build towards your future, when you rent you contribute towards someone else's. The long answer is rates fluctuate and there still are unique programs to help secure lower interest rates, plus how I structure your offer can save you money. Bottomline when it comes to buying, make sure you can afford the payment and hire a trusted professional. To conclude, California's tappable equity is at an all time high. If you do currently own a property, then I am sure you have recently received multiple notices tempting you to pull from your equity.
